Hello,
I have been bothered quit a few times by the lack of the "Breakpoint Ingore
count" feature in Nemiver.
What's that ?
It's basically the ability to ask the debugger to break at a breakpoint
only after the breakpoint is hit N times or more. Not before. This can be
quite helpful when debugging some programs that analyze input in a
repetitive manner. Like compilers :)
I figure this might need some internal changes in the debugger to implement
the feature, e.g. it'll need to allow breakpoints to be editable in the
breakpoints view, and a few things related to that.
An enhancement request for this task is available in bugzilla at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=588251 . If you are interested in
hearing about the progress, you can subscribe there.
So I guess I'll be working on that for a little while. As usual I'll
preempt this feature work to fix any important bug that arises between now
and the next release that should hopefully happen in a month or so.
Happy hacking.
