Well, if you just select the output in the target terminal, the
selected text gets copied into the X clipboard.
To paste that text somewhere else, for instance in gedit, you just
have to click in gedit with your middle mouse button, or click at the
same time on your left and right mouse button.
For what it is worth, It works here in nemiver 0.5.2.
I Guess what you want though is to have a contextual menu that lets
you copy the content of the target terminal to the *Gtk+ clipboard* so
that when you later right click in gedit, you can just use the "paste"
menu item to paste what you copied. If that is what you want, yes,
that feature is missing today.

I would say it is a missing feature :-) But you can always use the X
clipboard as a workaround for now, just like I have explained at the
begining of this email. I have just added an enhancement request for
this missing feature though. You can track it at
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=533437.
I accept patches as well :-) Though if you wait a bit, this feature
should be implemented soon.
