I believe you should be able to alternate gdb binaries by setting the
gconf key "/apps/nemiver/dbgperspective/gdb-binary" to the path to
your gdb binary.  There is no way to change this in the nemiver UI at
the moment, but you should be able to do so with gconf-editor for now
