Hello Henry,
There is currently no way to do that.  Our UI is pretty limited right
now as we work on getting more basic debugger features implemented.  I
hope to eventually move all widgets (e.g. call stack, variables, etc)
to a 'dockable' system so that the user can arrange them however he or
she wants, but that's a long-term goal and it's not going to happen in
the near future unless we get some more contributors on board.
There may be some intermediate steps that we could take to improve the
situation, however.  Maybe just a simple setting that determines
whether the widget notebook should be below or to the right of the
source view.  The devel team is a bit stretched at the moment, however
(I have a new baby, Dodji's got a new job), so if anybody feels
strongly about this and wants to help out, that would make it more
likely that something will happen soon.
