not sure  if same thing. But looks that guy is talking about this:

Had this "problem" too. I "solved" it by updating my mounting scripts to use 'gio mount' instead of 'mount -t 
cifs'.


Or do you mean those icons which are hidden in sidebar under 'Other locations' ?
