Thanks for the question and reply! Often for big tasks like this it's
best to first chat with the maintainers because they'll have the best
idea of where in the code to begin reading and writing.
Priyanshu, I assume you've seen the nautilus ideas in

A good first step would be to try and build nautilus from source. We
have a general tutorial here https://wiki.gnome.org/Newcomers/BuildGnome
and if you get stuck, come to the #newcomers channel in irc.gnome.org.
You can talk to csoriano who is often active in irc for details. (Maybe
carlos will even reply to this email :)
