Properties page for idevice in nautilus

There is no properties page dialog in nautilus from the side menu when
an idevice is connected. This means that 

1) idevice properties dialog have to be directly coded into a
explicite nautilus extention another gui to get info like amount of
free space, space on idevice for video's music etc which is available
to other USB devices.

2) A nautilus extension exists to expose this info. A dedicated gui
has been started but it make sense for nautilus to display it then
create another dedicated idevice gui.

Is there a problem with allowing this access, if so what and why


This may not be a priority but is their any plans to incorporate this
in nautilus in any time frame.
