Recently used feature - remember remote location

Hi,
The recently used feature does not remember files I open from remote locations.
I have tested opening files from a ssh, or sftp location.
Can this feature be enabled somehow?
Some info about my system:
# nautilus --version
GNOME nautilus 3.10.1
# cat /etc/os-release
NAME="Ubuntu"
VERSION="14.04.1 LTS, Trusty Tahr"
