Open the following file in a text editor:

~/.config/user-dirs.dirs

Look for a line starting with "XDG_DOWNLOAD_DIR=". Is the path correct?

If you are not sure, you can show us the file.

Hi all,
I met an small issue and no way to figure out by surfing web or reading man page.
Please give me a hint whatever you know.
My problem is caused by my location scope, there was a "Downloads" item which pointed to "Downloads" folder in /home (I know, silly description... ^^)
But my situation now is the link is lost, and point to "Desktop" instead.
As in photo attached, the location is selected  "Downloads", but the actual folder which has been shown is my "Desktop".
Small issue but bothers me for few years......  :(
I have tried to clean all the caches/settings in $home and use apt-get purge nautilus (my system is ubuntu 13.10 now) to remove and re-install nautilus, but all failed.
Thanks.
