The error is generated by nautilus-thumbnails.c located in libnautilus-
private. This is in response
to an error from gdk_pixbuf_loader_close().
I don't know why gdk_pixbuf is returning an error though.

Hello,
I'm trying to find cause for bug
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=482338
I wonder what Gnome component is responsible for message 'Failed to
close thumbnail pixbuf
loader for foobar.jpg'?
Someone (nautilus?) spits out following to ~/.xsession-errors:
...
** Message: Failed to close thumbnail pixbuf loader for
/tmp/img_1234.jpg: Error interpreting JPEG image file
(Application transferred too few scanlines)
...
I've tried returning back to nautilus 2.18.3, so on my Debian system
I rolled back packages
libeel2-2.18
nautilus_2.18.3
nautilus-data_2.18.3
but this bug still persists. (Maybe it's not problem of nautilus
itself at all?)
Thanks for your comments.
