Submenu feature for extensions in 2.16.X ??

Hi all,

 I would like to know what is the status of this bug about the
possibility to define submenu in the extensions :

It would be great to have this feature in 2.16 so I can enhanced my
extension nautilus-actions. Hope it is not too late...
