Invoke "Clean Up By Name" from script?

Hello,

is there any way to invoke "Clean Up By Name" on the Desktop from a
script or commandline?

I just wrote a little nautilus script that moves the desktop to a
selected folder so I can always use the desktop as my work area, no
matter where I work. But the icons are often scattered. I'd like to
clean it up after the switch, if possible.

Is there any way?
