locale doesnt work under Nautilus

Hi All,

i tried to watch my renamed files under Nautilus, but he have got Problems.
I renamed the file names in my console with iso8859-15 encoding.
With the ls command and Nautilus i can still watch my meta characters.
But when i rename some files under Nautilus and then watch it in my
console it seems broken.
My locale looks fine, iso8859-15.

I am using Debian Etch with Nautilus Version 2.14.3.
I set my locale with,
dpkg-reconfigure locales
and
set-language-env

Therefor i selected iso8859-15.

Any Idea?
Is the encoding in Nautilus wrong?
Where can i set the encoding for Nautilus?
