I agree with Darin, and i also agree with mpt that its likely users will
close the alert the first thing they do. However, there are still some
use for the retry button (as witnessed by the bug report) and it being
there doesn't increase confusion since its on all other such dialogs.

So, looks fine to commit.

Of course, the other ideas people had about helping the user handle this
would be very nice too.
