Computer Place is messed up

I hope I am asking to a right place in a right way,
sorry for any inconvenience that may occur :)

After accidentaly deleting fstab file and restoring it
just afterwards, I lost all the icons in the computer
place except "filesystem" and "network". No windows
volumes ( even after being mounted ) or no other
drives ( floppies, cdroms ) can be accessed within the
computer place anymore.

I have reinstalled whole nautilus, the
gnome-volume-manager ( not sure if it was the name ),
and  other stuff I found or am told to be related with
it, but it didn't work.

I hope I can get some help; I really used to love that
computer place :)
