Hi,
I'm currently having problems building nautilus from CVS with jhbuild.
I get
configure.in:3: error: possibly undefined macro: dnl
If this token and others are legitimate, please use
m4_pattern_allow.
See the Autoconf documentation.
Other modules build fine with jhbuild
Bizzare. dnl usually means "this is a comment" in autoconf. Does anyone
else get this? Maybe related to the autoconf version.
i'm also seen it in my debian, i think it is some problem with debian
unstable, because i can't get evolution to compile after the last
update.
I'm also running Debian unstable. Weird thing is that the latest autoconf
is from january 25. (See http://ftp.debian.org/pool/main/a/autoconf/ ) and
I've been using autoconf without any problems up till yesterday.
Yesterday evening I decided to rebuild the whole gnome stack. A lot of the
builds failed, because of autoconf problems.
I'll dig a bit deeper to see what's wrong
I now rebuild everything after first issueing a jhbuild bootstrap. So it
used a newly compiled autoconf and it works.
Problem also seems to be solved in Debian in the meantime. If I use the
autoconf installed in /usr/bin it now also works again. :-)
