Hi David,
Thanks for replying and throwing some light on the issue.
Well I installed nautilius which came along with red hat CD. So it had old
version and I installed the same.
So do you mean the older versions has bugs like this and I can't get rid of
those messages unless and until I install 2.6 or above version of nautilius.
Further what will be the implication of installing latest nautilius on the
system? It won't harm anything right?
Your help will be highly appreciated.

You're new to Linux and are using Nautilus 2.2?? Strange. I can't help
you, but why don't you go ahead and try Nautilus 2.8 or at least 2.6?
People will be glad about any bugs you find in 2.8 they can fix.
