At the moment this is not possible with gnome-vfs methods. We only
detect when unix filesystems are mounted and add them. However, the plan
is to add some sort of api to allow gnome-vfs methods to say "hey, here
is a new volume that was plugged in". There is some initial references
to this in the GnomeVFSVolumeMonitor code, but its not really started on
yet.
