I would caution the GNOME maintainers to be extra careful about this
release of Nautilus. If it isn't done right it will be VERY visible in
GNOME and a large bone of contention. Please go through these things
with a fine tooth comb.
Having the type of experience below just shouldn't be at this stage in
the game.
Do consider being able to turn spacial mode off with a GConf setting.
Not everyone likes spacial mode as is quite obvious from the GNOME mail
lists.
