Yeah. We want some way to allow you to add "metadata" for files that can
be shown as columns in the list view and in captions for the icon view.

Hmm, not sure what you mean by this? If you think the Nautilus
thumbnailing is bad, shouldn't we just fixing it? I'm don't get this
point.
