2.3.1 Segfault on startup

Upgraded eel and gnome-vfs to 2.3.1 before installing nautilus 2.3.1
Now it segfaults on startup. Am I missing some dep that the configure
script misses?
Stock RedHat 9.0 system, above installed to /usr/local. 2.2.3.1 worked
great!
