Replies in this thread confirm that there are also people more
comfortable with the current design.
As nautilus has the ability to do it either way, and people seem to have
different ideas about how it should work, maybe we should focus on
making it very easy to configure. The viewing preferences dialog needs a
fair amount of love anyway...
