An argument in favour of doing this is testing and perhaps improving the
flexibility of the listview widget.
btw, why is it that nautilus seems to implement its own list view instead
of using the gtk one? If there's missing functionality in the gtk one that
might be of use to other programs, shouldn't it be added there?
