I am working on this issue. Can you suggest a good place to put this
compatibility function? FYI, currently gdk_color_parse is called from:
./libnautilus-private/nautilus-directory-background.c
./src/nautilus-property-browser.c
./src/nautilus-sidebar-tabs.c
./libbackground/preferences.c
