[Nautilus-list] newbie to nautilus development - thinking of search sidebar panel

Hi - I'm new to this list and interested in contributing to the Nautilus 
development effort.  I thought a search sidebar panel (just a front-end to 
the 'find' utility) would be a really cool thing to add.  Can anyone offer 
me any pointers or tips about this before I jump into CVS and start poking 
around?
