How to modify icons in toolbar

I don't know theming gtk+, it seems to me to be very difficult (I'm not a
programmer),; because it deals with engine,and other things...
If you have a tutorial about gtk+ theming( french prefered or English), I
could try.

You have to theme them in Gtk+ - and until recently libbonoboui
wouldn't update the icons properly - you had to re-start nautilus; that
should be fixed in the latest libbonoboui builds; the best one to get is
libbonoboui-2.0.3 which I'm just uploading.
