Well, they were used in Mdk probably for a very long time and when
people are upgrading to latest nautilus, they can no longer these
desktop file from their ~/.gnome-desktop :((

I'm going to fix our Mdk .gnome-desktop desktop files to be spec
compliant but I still think we should be able to read old "broken"
desktop files (with a big warning in Nautilus code :))
