I believe we just created our Start Here icon when Nautilus creates
the Trash and Home icons. I'm not actually looking at the code but
that's my recollection. Of course this is probably all upstream now. 

(One of the reasons we added Start Here was to remove icon clutter
from the desktop, so we didn't really face this issue I guess.)
