[Nautilus-list] Nautilus 1.0.6 and CDROMS

Here is the problem:

I have two external scsi cd drives which I like to leave powered down
unless I need them.  The old 1.0.4 version of Nautilus would come up and
run fine if the drives were powered down but the 1.0.6 version sends the
kernel into a frenzy checking scsi status and eventually freezes the
system.

I would like to have Nautilus not check the the status of these drives
unless I actually try to mount them.

Any suggestions?
