Hm, I know now: the gnome-vfs modules didn't get installed as the ssl-modules.conf
 file is missing in CVS; after the manual addition, reinstall it works now again
  in non-desktop mode. Desktop mode is still crazy-making... will try to get out
   why.

ssl-modules.conf should contain:

https: libextfs.so, right?
