Well at least I was't blind or crazy. Or blind, anyway. At the same
time, I would like to have a way to adjust the properties for a file or
folder's icon. Perhaps a filter chain? So that I can add an emblem
and/or change the icon, and modify the context menus as well. Knowing
what you know about the internals of Nautilus, what's the easiest way to
accomplish this? And what's the best way? I'd be glad to help. I have
only some evening and weekend time to spare, but I spend it dorking
around with Nautilus and other gnome stuff anyway. :)
... in unrelated news...
One other bit that would be nice is if the gnome "run" dialog would
understand what to do when, say, a path is typed into it. Typing just
"/tmp", for instance, would open a file manager window in /tmp. Typing
in a url would open a web browser.
