Is post-1.0 Nautilus going to support .desktop files? GNOME and KDE supposedly have a desktop file standard, so allow for some interoperation between the desktops. It would be nice to see this extended to other Window Managers as well, like Enlightenment. It seems kind of kludgy to have 5 different ways of handling icons. If a desktop standard could be made, that would be a step in the right direction.
