The Mozilla FTP view is indeed a really cheesy-looking clone of the behavior
of Mac list views. It's possible that using some of the code there could
help speed up the implementation of this feature in Nautilus. It would still
not be a simple task, even if we borrow a little of this code. There are
lots of details to get right.
