[Nautilus-list] Fam not starting

Not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but it's related to
nautilus, so here it goes...

I noticed nautilus wasn't updating the view when I made a change through
the terminnal (deleting files, etc) so I inmediately thought of fam
causing the problem. Seems like fam hasn't been loading for a while:

I don't understand this, cause I don't know what pmap_set is

skynet is my computer's name, but I remember having trouble with apps (eg
sendmail) not finding my pc and thus not starting when I changed the name
from localhost.localdomain, so maybe this is related. Here goes my hosts
file if it's of any help:

127.0.0.1       skynet  localhost       localhost.localdomain


Can anyone help me or redirect me to the right place to ask (I've heard
fam doesn't have an active mantainer)?

ps: I'm using fam-2.6.4-11 and nautilus-1.0.6-1 in redhat 7.2
