Funny you should mention the Newton...that's what I was thinking of :-)

The code was partially written and "sort of worked", but I didn't find
the time to polish it to a level needed to make it useful. In the
meantime I'm sure it has bitrotted. Perhaps I shall take a pass at this
post-1.0. Note that the tree view provides a great way to accomplish
file operations without opening multiple windows (which is mainly what
I'm avoiding).
