Hi
When I'm using nautilus (especially with the mozilla component) the memory
of my XFree86 X process (XFree86 4.0) gets enormously large (>80MB).
Eventually I keep getting messages from gdk (via nautilus) that it can't
allocate any more shared memory.
Leaving nautilus (and killing associated programs) doesn't reduce the size
of X. Running nautilus again results in shared memory warnings
immediately.
Is this a memory leak in gtk/gdk, nautilus, imlib or X? Any solutions?
I've also seen (on an associated note) that changing the background image
on my gnome desktop keeps enlarging X.
Thanks,
Jeremy
