[Nautilus-list] Using the profiler

Ramiro made the profiler super easy to use.

Here is what you do to use it if you are using the eazel hacking
scripts:

1) type profile
2) rebuild-all

This will check out a new set of sources into /gnome-sources/PROFILE/...
and build a new set of binaries in /gnome/PROFILE/bin.

Note that you do not need to set up gcc 2.95, if you did "update"
recently, you got it in the eazel hacking rpm.

Also, you don't need to set up any special compiler flags, Ramiro's
hacking scripts will take care of everything.

3) run Nautilus and check the proflier output

When you run Nautilus built in the PROFILE tree, you will notice that it
has a new menu that allows you to turn profiling on and off, reset
profiling information and display profiling information.
The profiling information is now displayed in it's own window.

That's it!

You still need a beefy machine with 300 MB of RAM or so. Currently
profiling is turned on for Nautilus and GnomeVFS. If you would like to
profile any of the other components, or if you have any other problems
with it, ask me or Ramiro to help you set it up.
