It's a bug that I'm in the process of fixing right now:

To choose the selection and continue to a further level, hit forward
arrow (rather than the usual Un*x convention of TAB). Unfortunately
though, if you type more once the completion appears the forward arrow
thing stops working; and forward arrow does not add a trailing slash
after directories, making it less convenient to go multiple directory
levels. I'm not sure if there are bugs on these things.
