Hi Everybody,
I have been a user of Muine for a while now, I really like it there
are just a few niggles that I have with the way it behaves. If this
has been discussed before/already fixed in CVS then I apologise for my
time. I'm sorry that I don't have the coding skills to be able to
write a patch myself, but from my (extremely) limited programming
experience I don't believe that his would be too hard. Feel free to
correct me if I'm wrong.
First of all is the "Play" button. When you are playing a song it
still says "Play" but the actual action when you click it is to pause
the song. I don't have a problem with the behaviour, in fact it is
pretty standard that "Play" buttons also perform the "Pause" function.
My problem with it is that it should actually say "Pause" because that
is what it actually does.
Secondly I was wondering if we could implement a slider (I think that
is the correct word) for what part of the song you are up to. At the
moment we have the indicator of how much time in a song has passed.
However the only way to change the position that you are in the song
is to use the fast forward/rewind buttons which are imprecise.
Hope that you guys feel the same way that I do about these things.
When are you planning on doing a release? Would love to see the fix
for the cover art problem by Dapper (I'm an Ubuntu user :) )
