[Muine] some playback problem

today i installed at work muine, and even put the tag plugin (which btw
is great). everything works fine, except two little strange problems.
some of the mp3 files refuse to get into muine's database. even if i
import the folder the same files get imported, and the same files get
left out. even if i drag-and-drop them the same thing happens. the
other weird problem is that every song when played stops for a second
on the 5th or 6th second of its duration and then continues normally.
every song. no exceptions. anybody have some ideas about these problems?
any help is much appreciated :)
