Well, taking a look at the RB code for mp4 metadata parsing, in
metadata/monkey-media/stream-info-impl/mp4-stream-info-impl.c:

And then they use the same API i was using. I *really* don't want to
cause a stink for RB, but it seems they've fallen prey to the same
"ooooh, that looks like a nice library to use" trap. Thoughts?
