[Muine] what happened to the lyrics plugin?

i'm really interested in any development of a lyrics plugin. it was
once mentioned in the mailing list. in the quod libet player i found
something working absolutely great. it is this plugin.

it's written in python however. it uses the leo lyrics' page and
actually for now the songs i've tried it on 
proved it to be successful and very useful. however i find muine to be
the best player for me :) and would be great if anyone could develop a
similar working plugin for muine also.
