Hi,

I also agree this kind of tag handling so why not make this kind of issues user selectable? Let's make option "settings" in e.g file->settings?
So user could decide whether to use strict tags or canonical tags.
There could be also other options like starting muine in systray etc...

I also liked to comment a bit for UI as I don't see much value for having text in buttons "Play song" and "play album" as you get hint anyway after mouse is over the button. So small images(like others) would be just fine. Then we could shrink UI as small as e.g. xmms
