Muine definitely wouldn't have found them then - the album matching code
pays no attention to the file, or pathnames, just the tags.

Can you post the output of id3v2 --list on one of the MP3s?
When you say you rebuilt the muine database did you remove the whole of
the .gnome2/muine directory?
