Hi Peter et al,

John is also going to be helping out on the opencv/python3 issue. He has been working with C++ and opencv 
over the summer break. So I think he is well positioned to help out.

Second, Amber would like to pick up the opencv/python 3 issue that you were working on. Do you have history 
of the problem and any progress that you’ve made in solving it?  We’d appreciate any information that you 
could provide.
