I guess that I owe an explanation for that.

I had originally intended to organise a mobile track through this list
co-ordinating with the GUADEC content organisers (and I mailed the list
about it some time ago:
http://www.mail-archive.com/guadec-list gnome org/msg02675.html - and
followed up again to you last month:
http://www.mail-archive.com/guadec-list gnome org/msg02705.html) -
however with the call for content, and time pressure to get an agenda
out, the content organisers didn't consult with me before setting the
content for the day, which left me (as I said) wrangling behind the
scenes to make time for a mobile BOF and add some late breaking Moblin
content.

There are even some things not in the sessions which I would have liked
to hear about - oFono (perhaps in a comparison/face-off with FSO?),
ConnMan vs wicd vs Connection Manager (we do have a ConnMan talk) and
also some content related to the free software bits of the LiMo
platform, and what plans LiMo members have for evolving it - but you
can't have everything, and I guess we will see some of that at OSiM
World in September.

I'm not 100% happy with the process, but I do think that there is a lot
of very compelling mobile related content on the agenda.

Cheers,
Dave.
