Re: X for gnome mobile



Note there is nothing particularly magic about the kdrive server; these
days, mobile devices will often have enough memory that running a
"regular" X server is not an issue, and some of the extensions one may
want for some circumstances are not available in kdrive.  Kdrive does
have a significantly smaller footprint than the "conventional" X server.

Back when Keith did kdrive, we were living on Itsy/iPAQ devices of 16
meg of ram...
