More info on this list...
A low volume, moderated list is for discussion about Metacity development. A few rules to keep this low volume:
* Bugzilla should be used in preference to this list where it makes sense
* If you aren't willing to fix the issue you are emailing about, your email is likely to be rejected (i.e. this list isn't for whining about unfixed bugs)
* Email approval is further subject to Elijah's whim ;-)
* Exceptions to the rules may be made for past or current contributors or gtk hackers. However, just because you see rules being bent for others doesn't mean that they'll be bent for you.
In other words, we're kind of paranoid right now about the list getting out of control. But, if you play nicely, there's no need to fear Elijah's wrath. You may, however, need to be patient waiting for list moderation.
