Memproof compilation errors

Hi,
  
  When I compile the sources from
"memprof-0.5.1.tar.gz", we got an error message asking
for the
 following
 packages:
   1. gtk+-2.0 >= 2.0.0
   2. gconf-2.0 >= 1.1.8
   3. libgnomeui-2.0 >= 1.112.1
   4. libglade-2.0 >= 1.99.9

 Our GTK version is 1.2.
 pkg-config file is not able to find the libraries for
the above  packages.

Can anyone help me how to work around this?? OR can I
get the memprof binay directly?
