Retiring membership-committee mailing list

Hello,

The Membership Committee mailing list hasn't seen a discussion for a few years and currently only serves as a placeholder for GitLab issue updates (from Teams/MembershipCommittee). As part of the effort to migrate off from Mailman and into Discourse we believe it's a good time to retire this mailing list. If you're subscribed and still interested in receiving updates about GitLab issues related to the Membership Committee space please make sure to subscribe via GitLab directly at [1]. At the same time if you have anything to discuss that doesn't fit an issue request please use the following Discourse category [2]. Anything related to Elections and Referenda should be discussed at [3] as previously mentioned on the 2020 and 2021 election runs.

Thanks,
